With an area of 891 square kilometres, Berlin is nine times bigger than Paris and with 1,700 has more bridges than Venice. 108,500 events with 8.26 million participants were staged here last year.
Hardly any city has changed so much in the past few years as Berlin. From being a divided city before the wall fell it is now one again. Not only sights and museums characterize Berlin but also the many green oases, the night life or Berlin's reputation as a Trendsetter and Fashion Mecca.
