Greeting from the ISHAM President

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

ISHAM congresses are only held every three years and provide clinicians, scientistsand students an exciting opportunity to meet at aninternational forum dedicated solely to the study of medical and veterinary mycology.  Thus, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the 18th Congress of the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology 2012 (ISHAM 2012) to be held in Berlin, Germany, from June 11-15, 2012.
ISHAM congresses are well recognized for their innovative scientific programs and congeniality to foster friendships with other colleagues.  Many life long professional friendships have been formed at ISHAM Congresses. 

The 18th Congress will be co-hosted by the German Speaking Mycological Society and I congratulate the local organizing committee of Markus Ruhnke, Yvonne Gräser, Kathrin Tintelnot and Bernhard Hube for facilitating an exciting scientific program.

Berlin is a fabulous city to visit and this Congress promises to be the best one yet.  I look forward to seeing you in Berlin.
